According to Cointelegraph, institutional interest in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) is drying up. The $12.55 billion closed-end trust is trading at a 35.26% negative premium, a record low, according to Coinglass data. For most of its existence, GBTC traded at a premium to spot bitcoin prices. But after Canada's first North American Bitcoin exchange-traded fund debuted in February 2021, it began trading at a discount.
